Very good burger. And they have gluten free buns. Awesome!

Loved the teriyaki burger added jalepenos. Husband did not like the mushroom burger they use canned mushrooms cooked with no seasoning. I'm pregnant with 3 kids and they seemed irritated that we wanted to stay and eat. We didn't feel wanted or very welcome.

Fantastic old fashioned burger shack and shake stand. All the burgers are pressed from local beef and cooked right then and there, it's excellent. If you can wait the extra minute and walk inside for your food, it's the best made burger in Medford.

I came in 5 minutes till close (which I do not ever recommend, it's incredibly rude but I didn't check to see what time they closed before hand) and when I asked they said they didn't mind helping me at all. I had a full order for my family too. They not only welcomed me in they were SOOOO friendly and seemed to really enjoy there job. I will be recommending them for sure and whoever owns Barney's. Be so proud of your employees, they are really next level! 🏆⭐

Perfect meal every time, been a fan for almost five years! Guy on the phone said they could have my burger ready by the time I got there. Not even ten minutes later, i showed up just as they were bagging my order! Great food and great service

Hands down, best burgers in Medford. Shoe string fries, classic malt shakes, chilli dogs, and over a dozen different burgers. Large menu with fare prices (double quarter pounder with cheese is currently around$7.50). Their meat is locally sourced from Cherry Street Meats, also in Medford.

A perfect combination of solid traditional burgers and more creative, complicated variety. I've tried about half the menu over the years and never been disappointed. Beef from Cherry Street Meats makes all the difference.Barney's feels small town, tastes authentic, and is a rare local gem in a market dominated by chain stores.And did I mention the shakes? Just wow.

I had warm fuzzies about this place, now I just have cold buns..We finally got an opportunity to revisit this place, which we remembered fondly. By no means was this bad food. But it's not as good as it once was.She got bacon cheddar burger, and I got a BBQ bacon burger, which is the same as the bacon cheddar, just with BBQ sauce. While the bacon is good, it was cooked till it was completely crisp, which can be good, but in this case it was way overdone. The BBQ sauce on mine was just...way way to much. Then the buns... They we're COLD. What the heck... Who wants cold buns with a warm burger. Then the fries, actually they we're good! But the "fry sauce" was basically mayonnaise with a little seasoning... Definitely not what it used to be.

First impressions are pretty good! Staff is friendly, food is very not bad. Has the feel of a small business. Would like to branch out from the lunch special for the next visit to see what they can really do!

Wow this place is great! My avocado Jack burger was cooked nicely and all the veggies were fresh. Using real avocados and quality meat for only 7.50 is a good deal. Great fries and fry sauce too

My complements to the cooks. The hamburgers were spot on. Not overly spicy or too salty. They were cooked to perfection, the way we liked it. I loved the Onion rings (I need to request no salt, dietary restrictions). The chocolate shake was also good. For sure we will definitely be back.

Much better than your average drive-thru fast food, but then of course the price differential equals the value differential. Good to phone in an order to pick up on the way home oh, but they do have some cute Diner Style tables inside if you can score one. Excellent shakes

Hamburgers were great but expensive. Over $8.00 for just the hamburger. The fries were an extra cost.

Artisan burger with a diner feel! Great prices! I called ahead of time to check and see if they offered gluten free buns and indeed they do! The gentleman I spoke with was very personable and informative. One of the best burgers I've ever eaten hands down!!! My only suggestion is that you overhaul the fry sauce as its quite boring. Add some relish and reduce the sweetness.

Delicious burgers! Very good quality ingredients, decently priced. (A little on the spendy side, but you get what you pay for) Really yummy milkshakes, I'd recommend the chocolate and creamy peanut butter shake, it's my fav:) Never been disappointed!

Normally my burger from Barney's is great and usually 5 stars, however, today that is not the case. The flavor was still great but my patty was really dry and over cooked. Hopefully next time will be "better".
